Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) FC Riga were awarded a corner in the 3th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy Svenningsted took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Riga's corner Jimmy Svenningsted fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. When Marin Ailenei came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FC Riga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Ailenei couldn't finish the play. Saivis Kikals showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Riga booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saivis Kikals showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marin Ailenei had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marin Ailenei in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marin Ailenei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vismants Kukurudzjaks took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jimmy Svenningsted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, FC Riga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laimiņs Veterbergs to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 47 minutes, Agustín Saelices made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Riga's Saivis Kikals tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nils Dortāns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saivis Kikals was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Agustín Saelices capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustín Saelices really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Ailenei came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ailenei in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Riga's Laimiņs Veterbergs got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Saivis Kikals made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ailenei in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saivis Kikals was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute, Dāvis Pipiris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Svenningsted in the 79th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Ailenei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ailenei, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Svenningsted in the 90th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the FC Riga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. FC Riga made a substitution. Kaspars Ketris replaced Vismants Kukurudzjaks.
