Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Banas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Victor Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Neuros och Psykos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Victor Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador played a much better game than Neuros och Psykos and deserved their victory. The Neuros och Psykos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
