Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Kubala in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hispania's Arif Memduh Akova. Arif Memduh Akova was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Filip Kubala sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute of the match Hispania got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lei Qian Peng ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Memduh Akova saved Hispania from getting behind. Hispania's Arif Memduh Akova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 24th minute of play. Lei Qian Peng charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lei Qian Peng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lei Qian Peng hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Memduh Akova read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Filip Kubala made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hispania getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Filip Kubala hit a great ball. Arif Memduh Akova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Nofre Galego threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hispania made a substitution. Danilo Alcalde replaced Gil Pais. A sloppy throw-in by Nofre Galego in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Arif Memduh Akova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Alcocer in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hispania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julian Murillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Julian Murillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arif Memduh Akova quite easily take care of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Hispania's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Arif Memduh Akova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Memduh Akova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Osman Čiček made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 89 minutes into the match, Hispania's goalkeeper Arif Memduh Akova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Alcocer. 89 minutes in the game, Eliseo Alcocer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arif Memduh Akova came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 91st minute. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hispania throughout the match.
