Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Germano Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by OSASCO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Tostão Domingues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tostão Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tostão Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tostão Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tostão Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tostão Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Botelho in the 44th minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by OSASCO FC's Fellipe Botelho. But to his dismay, Fellipe Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tostão Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 51st minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjeld Hofgaard in the 54th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fellipe Botelho went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Germano Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fellipe Botelho's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Pimenta in the 69th minute of the match. Fellipe Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 minutes of play, OSASCO FC's Germano Bertassi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, OSASCO FC's Tostão Domingues got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Kjeld Hofgaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
