The crowd rose to their feet as Kauan Rosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karni Yair in the 13th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Pimenta. Xurupita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jarbas Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarbas Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karni Yair in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Christian Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Pimenta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Kellbom in the 36th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Xurupita FC's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karni Yair, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th minute, Joseph Kellbom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karni Yair in the 51st minute of the match. Christian Arósio made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 57th minute, Kauan Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betão Siqueira made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Agnaldo de Senna immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Jarbas Pimenta in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betão Siqueira made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Jarbas Pimenta to make any attempt to save it. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Rafael Gallo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Xurupita FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
