Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Nyman having to interfere. Brothers of Mercy's Marcin Adamko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Garrido in the 44 minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Kornél Ács replaced Roger Strömberg. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Håkan Lindgren was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman got control of the ball when Abram Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Hjortsberg to maneuver through the defense. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot.
