Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Ferraz started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ferraz in the 8th minute of play. If Vilhelm Brüggemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Vilhelm Brüggemann sent off a good shot on target. Mahieddine Bouzid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 28th minute of the match. Vilhelm Brüggemann's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Cotilla firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahieddine Bouzid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. When Manuel Ferraz in the 43rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Marcos Cotilla kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 53rd minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Brüggemann in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gelmore FC's Manuel Ferraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Gelmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mahieddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Gelmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Edward Blachgaard. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mahieddine Bouzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Mahieddine Bouzid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The supporters of Gelmore FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Carita didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Brüggemann in the 78th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laslo Luginbühl was slow to take the kick. During this time Gelmore FC's players had a chance to rest. Manuel Ferraz made a great header on Gelmore FC's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. Gelmore FC's Manuel Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gelmore FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Brüggemann's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Brüggemann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Gelmore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Brüggemann to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahieddine Bouzid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
