Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Garrote was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Luisinho Laguna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-1. Aldo Rico hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in El Gallo de Moron's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nacho Gonzalez came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nacho Gonzalez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacho Gonzalez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Luisinho Laguna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Jimeno Mikolas took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. In the 95th minute Luisinho Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, El Gallo de Moron could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
