After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Seçkin Necid got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 10th minute, Mario Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfonso de la Cruz scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Akşemseddin Tayuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Akşemseddin Tayuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. When Julio Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Julio Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 29th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akşemseddin Tayuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akşemseddin Tayuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akşemseddin Tayuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Akşemseddin Tayuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Chicote went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Eduardo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a Samsunspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Fontirroig helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Fontirroig kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Bolivia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Joshua Miralles with Eduardo Fontirroig as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 55 minutes into the game, Dorukhan Erokay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. Dorukhan Erokay kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Samsunspor's Akşemseddin Tayuk got control of the ball when Julio Chicote tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akşemseddin Tayuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dorukhan Erokay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute of the game Joshua Miralles made a throw-in which Eduardo Fontirroig played forward. Samsunspor's Akşemseddin Tayuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 68th minute of play. Akşemseddin Tayuk made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Seçkin Necid sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akşemseddin Tayuk came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolgahan Onay's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolgahan Onay helped the player get up and apologised. Akşemseddin Tayuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Bolivia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Samsunspor.
