Márcio Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Peralta made a kick off. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Pereira in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xie Guang was slow to take the kick. During this time Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Peralta in the 59th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Márcio Moura, making the score, 1-4. Cristiano Fraga's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Fraga helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Fraga hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Carrada d´Ansiedade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Peralta in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Moura came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 91st minute of play forced Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's goalkeeper Márcio Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's Márcio Moura. Márcio Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carrada d´Ansiedade FC.
