Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Liang Mo in the 5th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Januário Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 15th minute. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes MEXACOMX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Januário Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Wu Liang Mo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute MEXACOMX were awarded a corner. Julio-César Romo-Leroux went to the cornerflag to take it. Maurício Meireles was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Januário Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. Damaso Palben charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Palben the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Palben. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Guerra was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Maurício Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. MEXACOMX's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Januário Rangel. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ricardo Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Joaquin Sedillo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MEXACOMX's protests and gave Joaquin Sedillo a yellow card for diving instead. 67 minutes into the match, Wu Liang Mo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Sedillo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Rangel having to interfere. MEXACOMX's Tomás Jordão was substituted for Ricardo Guerra. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by MEXACOMX's Tomás Jordão. But to his dismay, Tomás Jordão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Tomás Jordão came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Jordão couldn't finish the play. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wu Liang Mo hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Tomás Jordão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The MEXACOMX support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
