Elder de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Mile Šljivar got a free kick in the 29th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lino Budimir was slow to take the kick. During this time GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Lino Budimir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Zachary Parzysz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zachary Parzysz was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Zachary Parzysz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachary Parzysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ made a substitution. Stanislav Miškić replaced Lino Budimir. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Bruno Šimunko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Stanislav Miškić got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Parzysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a freekick which was hit by Mile Šljivar. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachary Parzysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Parzysz scored 3-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
