The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Fontirroig during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Fernandino made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eduardo Fontirroig. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Castaño in the 53rd minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Bolivia got a corner. San Isidro De Albatera CD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Fernandino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bolivia's Mario Fernandino to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolás Avila despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Cristobal Castaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Avila having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Cristobal Castaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Regis Pujol managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Isidro De Albatera CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Regis Pujol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Isidro De Albatera CD had won after a very even match.
