Dominic Van de Loock's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 7th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Guillermo Fontirroig made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin managed to reach the ball for a save. When Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Zjawin saved Sköll F.C. from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pozo. The audience held their breath when Dino Rea in the 27th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Thiago Pliego's left hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Iwan Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dino Rea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Zjawin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Iwan Zjawin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Zjawin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominic Van de Loock's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Noel Van Deyck made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Iwan Zjawin. Iwan Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Iwan Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Van de Loock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Casaus in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Zjawin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan Zjawin was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 87th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Iwan Zjawin. Sköll F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Iwan Zjawin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Sköll F.C.'s Dominic Van de Loock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
