Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Venezuela's Joshua Secada to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucas Savenije despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joshua Secada took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Savenije. Lucas Savenije dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Enrico Tassotti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Savenije having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Gonzo Style f.c's Emanuele Bertoni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Bertoni in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Cesare Di Loreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzo Style f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Enrico Tassotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Tassotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Savenije having to interfere. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
