In the 8th minute, one of Greenbay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Greenbay. Jonathan Alphonse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Webb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Jonathan Alphonse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Webb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Brian Webb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Alphonse went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Jonathan Alphonse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Webb. Greenbay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Alphonse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Brian Webb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernso Constant, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
