Efrain Moruga made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alan Moruga however managed to control. 16 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Agnaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Rubio made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Puig however managed to control. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Futuros FC's Jarbas Quirino. After 29 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Agnaldo Brasil. Futuros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 37 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Futuros FC's Tomás Marques quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Efrain Moruga made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Futuros FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Agnaldo Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilton Lara made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in which Juan Rubio played forward. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Brasil having to interfere. With his leg Agnaldo Brasil managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Futuros FC's Oscar Trevisan. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Agnaldo Brasil was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Futuros FC through an amazing save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Agnaldo Brasil in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agnaldo Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Futuros FC's attentive Nilton Lara managed to snatch the ball when Lautaro Puig made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Abel Carballo made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Rafa Nóbrega took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Efrain Moruga made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Tasis didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 88th minute. Costa Rica's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The Futuros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa Rica's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa Rica.
