Pipo Orihuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pipo Orihuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jilian Verhaghen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipo Orihuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Gallo Crisis's goalkeeper Pipo Orihuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Gallo Crisis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gallo Crisis's Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck. But to his dismay, Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Pipo Orihuela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
