Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Los pibitos de mardel booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Maldonado in the 9th minute. Gabriel Ermano made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Villagra Velis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Villagra Velis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 26th minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Botello in the 27th minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. When Higinio Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Los pibitos de mardel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Xabat couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto de Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto de Souza got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto de Souza was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Los pibitos de mardel's Ernesto de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Villagra Velis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Cosme Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Cosme Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto de Souza in the 67th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gabriel Ermano in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Francisco Seco made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 74thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Villagra Velis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto de Souza in the 76th minute of play. Villagra Velis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Beldad, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Villagra Velis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 80th minute of the match. Elias Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Ernesto de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los pibitos de mardel had won after a very even match.
