Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cebollitas F.C.'s Carmelo Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Cebollitas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Burni to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Cebollitas F.C.'s Carmelo Gumaro managed to reach the ball for a save. After 24 minutes of play, Cebollitas F.C.'s Celso Savier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Cebollitas F.C.'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Gumaro came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes in the game Valentín Carvallo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Villa. The supporters of Honduras booed when Cebollitas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 played minutes Cebollitas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Kaczynski. With his leg Carmelo Gumaro managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Fernan Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carmelo Gumaro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fernan Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute.
