Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosa nostra Lyon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clem Fath in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 13th minute. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clem Fath having to interfere. Clem Fath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Erwann Patrice sent off a good shot on target. After 23 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Félicien Boidin who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. The supporters of Cosa nostra Lyon booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Junior Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Félicien Boidin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Junior Quintana might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Junior Quintana ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Clem Fath made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clem Fath. The goal made the score 1-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félicien Boidin in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Quintana in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clem Fath having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Clem Fath made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clem Fath came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwann Patrice in the 87th minute of the match. After 89th play minutes Junior Quintana shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Félicien Boidin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cosa nostra Lyon to leave the ground with a draw.
