An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Bartha in the 4th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferenc Szőllőssy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 11th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Fülöp Magos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Géza Tímár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Géza Tímár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Géza Tímár came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivér Bagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fülöp Magos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. TUSE's Fülöp Magos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play. Bertold Gyurkovics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, TUSE's Krisztián Bartha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Géza Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Géza Tímár in the 42nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivér Bagi in the 45th minute of the match. When Miguel Miralles fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Miguel Miralles a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olivér Bagi in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krisztián Bartha to strike the kick off in the second half. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Géza Tímár in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Krisztián Bartha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krisztián Bartha took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Bartha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Krisztián Bartha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Krisztián Bartha might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krisztián Bartha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TUSE's Kornél Várdai was substituted for Ferenc Szőllőssy. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes, TUSE's Krisztián Bartha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TUSE reached it. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krisztián Bartha in the 89th minute of the match. Dylan Sarmiento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match.
