Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Péter Havas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Havas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Cristofol came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Omar Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes RÚSTICOS F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Omar Cristofol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Omar Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of RÚSTICOS F.C booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Eudoxio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Eudoxio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, RÚSTICOS F.C's Denis Eudoxio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Omar Cristofol made a huge save. In the 61st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Vachon hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, RÚSTICOS F.C's Omar Cristofol got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Omar Cristofol however easily saved by the left post. Omar Cristofol made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Cristofol. The goal made the score 3-3. After having played for 80 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Cristofol. The goal made the score 3-4. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
