The audience was convinced that Lesardo Alavedra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Tino was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes Deportivo Alavés got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Estrada. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lesardo Alavedra in the 37th managed to get into a good position. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Lesardo Alavedra took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Reynaldo Tino to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swindon Sweden FF's goalkeeper Reynaldo Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils-Åke Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Spets in the 94th minute of the match. Amador Urbasa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Deportivo Alavés players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
