With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Ochylski saved Oceania Rumia from getting behind. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Ochylski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to a score. 0-1 in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Siwy in the 27th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's late challenge caught a Oceania Rumia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
