The supporters of !HalaMadrid! booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachariasz Ptaszek in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Zdzislaw Gierlach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute there was a penalty for !HalaMadrid!. Zdzislaw Gierlach stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. In the 29th match minute, !HalaMadrid! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jilian De Schutter to maneuver through the defense. Zdzislaw Gierlach struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for !HalaMadrid!. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Zdzislaw Gierlach took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th match minute, !HalaMadrid! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loud Deeth to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, !HalaMadrid!'s Zdzislaw Gierlach ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 41st minute Zdzislaw Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Ptaszek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes, !HalaMadrid!'s Zdzislaw Gierlach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in !HalaMadrid! reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachariasz Ptaszek in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, !HalaMadrid!'s Zachariasz Ptaszek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. !HalaMadrid!'s Olaf Soroka was substituted for King Køng. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Zachariasz Ptaszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, !HalaMadrid!'s Zdzislaw Gierlach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Wit Dynda made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zachariasz Ptaszek immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Gierlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. !HalaMadrid!'s Jilian De Schutter managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 94 minute of the game. !HalaMadrid!'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
