Cristobal Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tomás Leoncio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the LA InDuStRiA INC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Leoncio couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 10th minute, Cristobal Lalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA InDuStRiA INC the free kick. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Lalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Cristobal Lalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After having played for 19 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 34th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Lalla in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Lalla got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristobal Lalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomás Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 63rd match minute, LA InDuStRiA INC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Lalla in the 67th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. A sloppy throw-in by Benito Kimetz in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. The supporters of Venezuela booed when LA InDuStRiA INC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Szpakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LA InDuStRiA INC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
