Wawrzyniec Jajko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Wawrzyniec Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. When Kazimierz Charlap fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jareniówka SSA's protests and gave Kazimierz Charlap a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Kazimierz Charlap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wawrzyniec Jajko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Jareniówka SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Wawrzyniec Jajko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Didi Kobra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Abascal got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the game, Melquiades Odon lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Odon was the one to do the kick off. Jareniówka SSA's Melquiades Odon got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jareniówka SSA's Kazimierz Charlap got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Abascal in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Hugon Jaszyna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Odon came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Wawrzyniec Jajko threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 69th match minute, Jareniówka SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Kobra to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wawrzyniec Jajko. That made the score 2-1 after 74 minutes of play. After 79 played minutes Jareniówka SSA got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Odon. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Odon in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Thanks to Venezuela's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Ertunç Usun tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Jonathan Ferrant seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Jareniówka SSA's Melquiades Odon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!
