Marcus Lundhberg hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Francisco Gallo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Thor Grönberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Thor Grönberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. When Francisco Gallo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Francisco Gallo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Hudiksvalls United got a freekick which was hit by Peter Torstensson. Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandino in the 30th minute of play. If Ingvar Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls United defense, Mario Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Almstedt. The Hudiksvalls United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Almstedt should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Joshua Miralles got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Hökkvist. When Francisco Gallo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After 48 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. After the first half Bolivia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Ferrant made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marcus Lundhberg hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's Thor Grönberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Chicote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Almstedt having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Joshua Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Almstedt. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingvar Hökkvist went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alfonso de la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Almstedt having to interfere. Julio Chicote struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Arne Almstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. After having played for 91 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Hökkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bolivia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
