Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Barcelona's Tibor Surovec started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dezider Šindelka. FC Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monty Rogers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Dezider Šindelka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Pirok in the 12th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Pirok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragan Horčička in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the USA defense, Dragan Horčička kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Surovec in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Surovec came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Brown's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Brown helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, USA's Fabian Brown got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dragan Horčička sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monty Rogers might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dezider Šindelka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monty Rogers ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, USA's Zach Harrison got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka. Dezider Šindelka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The FC Barcelona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 1-2.

FC Barcelona's Andrej Karásek was substituted for Tibor Surovec. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dezider Šindelka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Chico Pirok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Pirok's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 66 minutes, Chico Pirok made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Barcelona made a substitution. Blažej Janalík replaced Petr Kocek. FC Barcelona's Anton Chlup was substituted for Jan Plocek. Dezider Šindelka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Andrej Karásek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrej Karásek's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Ondřej Krofta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Karásek in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Sam Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Despite being the better team, USA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
