Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cometuétano's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cometuétano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argenis Coira in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigor Barroso got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Alejandro Sevilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Cometuétano's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Miks Lecis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zigor Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zigor Barroso was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argenis Coira in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Cometuétano made a substitution. Kepa Portillo replaced Alejandro Sevilla. In the 62nd minute of the match Aliecer Freire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Alcadio Abajas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cometuétano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miks Lecis having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argenis Coira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Miks Lecis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miks Lecis could save by the left post. In the 89th match minute, Cometuétano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kepa Portillo to maneuver through the defense. Kepa Portillo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Antoni Paris struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cometuétano. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Cometuétano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
