Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miks Lecis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigor Barroso in the 28th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xuan Solera made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. The crowd rose to their feet as Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 after 31 minutes of play. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Argenis Coira scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigor Barroso got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cometuétano fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, Leroy Vera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leroy Vera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 43 played minutes Cometuétano got a freekick which was hit by Aliecer Freire.

The wind increased when Zigor Barroso made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Barroso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Alejandro Sevilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cometuétano's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miks Lecis came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miks Lecis having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigor Barroso in the 82nd minute of the match. Argenis Coira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cometuétano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
