The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, Giovanni Falcone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniele Massaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Daniele Massaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seggiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Massaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giovanni Falcone came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Manzanares could save by the left post. Seggiano's Giovanni Falcone got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Daniele Massaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Falcone's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Seggiano defense, Pascual Carballar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Colecchia. The Seggiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Colecchia should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godo Møltoft in the 64th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Daniele Massaro sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Godo Møltoft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cosimo Franceschini hit a great ball. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. In the 89thth minute of the game Daniele Massaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Fabrizio Mazzocco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-5 when Achille Pasinati sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares.
