Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nina fc's goalkeeper Lucio Hernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucio Hernandez came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo. But to his dismay, Roberto Ocampo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Hernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The supporters of Nina fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucio Hernandez, 1-4. In the 62nd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Lucio Hernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jacobo Ibar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 72nd minute, Jacobo Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 79th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Sergio Locaio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Lucio Hernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucio Hernandez. That made the score 1-8 after 95 minutes of play. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
