Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chaves do 8 FC's Pascual Bertin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Negri in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Pascual Bertin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. The audience was convinced that Pascual Bertin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Bertin in the 12th minute of play. Pascual Bertin had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Chaves do 8 FC's Pascual Bertin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Pascual Bertin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chaves do 8 FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chaves do 8 FC's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Varela came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Bertin in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Bertins short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Chaves do 8 FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Fabricio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaves do 8 FC's Eliézer Negri. But to his dismay, Eliézer Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 62nd minute Pascual Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Pascual Bertin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Bertin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pascual Bertin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaves do 8 FC. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaves do 8 FC's Pascual Bertin. But to his dismay, Pascual Bertin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. After 81 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Chaves do 8 FC's Pascual Bertin got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chaves do 8 FC's Pascual Bertin in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 12-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Pascual Bertin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Bertin came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Bertin in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. There was no doubt that Chaves do 8 FC were the better team. Chaves do 8 FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
