Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoman Karaičić in the 5th minute of the match. 11 minutes in the game Felix Montes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Zorita. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Staniša Šorgić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staniša Šorgić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić did a great save. In the 24th minute Radoman Karaičić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Staniša Šorgić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Sima Ignjatović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Thornhill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar-Alfredo Ruggeri to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Thornhill City's Sima Ignjatović got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staniša Šorgić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thornhill City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marko Vidanović in the 65th minute. After taking down the ball on Thornhill City's corner Marko Vidanović fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ninoslav Mijanović in the 70th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Thornhill City got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marko Vidanović ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Ninoslav Mijanović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Staniša Šorgić was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Staniša Šorgić in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staniša Šorgić having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
