A hard shot 15 in the game by Frank Frisck from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarper Kürşat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute of the match, Frank Frisck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by ...'s Erdeniz Bekiroğlu. But to his dismay, Erdeniz Bekiroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sarper Kürşat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Frisck in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ...'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erdeniz Bekiroğlu in the 40th minute. ...'s Batur Canel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frank Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. ...'s Sarper Kürşat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sarper Kürşat. ...'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selim Zor in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sarper Kürşat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Alim Erem charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alim Erem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alim Erem kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sarper Kürşat. The goal made the score 1-2. With a little luck, ...'s Sarper Kürşat got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by ...'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ...'s goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ...'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, ...'s Sarper Kürşat got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sarper Kürşat, 1-3. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 80th playminute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serhat Süngü kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sarper Kürşat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Jiang Cheng's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jiang Cheng helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes ... got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Cheng. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, ...'s Erdeniz Bekiroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After 97 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sarper Kürşat was left in no man's land by his defense there! The ... fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
