Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by 雷远骋 in the 13th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 雷远骋, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th play minute 唐潮帆 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 2-0. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. But to his dismay, 肖强勇 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevan Schaub, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Liberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute 肖强勇 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 雷远骋 in the 75th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 肖强勇 went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Estevan Schaub kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
