Silvinho Dias came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alberto Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Gisbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvinho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tingara FC - DMZ's Silvinho Dias. Silvinho Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Luiz Gustavo Matos in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Bruno Beldad. In the 33rd minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Tingara FC - DMZ's Silvinho Dias. Silvinho Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Secco. After the first half Uruguay were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Dias was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tingara FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sidnei Batista hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvinho Dias. Tingara FC - DMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Fabinho Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvinho Dias was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Francisco Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Luiz Gustavo Matos made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tingara FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Silvinho Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvinho Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvinho Dias. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. After 90 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
