Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silverio Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 12th minute of the match. Severi Nybacka hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silverio Corderun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Silverio Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 18th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match León Zambrano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After 26 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Tasso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Waldir Urbano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Urbano got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of play. If Waldir Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Silverio Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza was substituted for Waldir Urbano. Tasso FC made a substitution. Pinto Valer replaced Wawrzyniec Poremba. 85 minutes into the game, Normando Fiúza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Normando Fiúza notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Fiúza in the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Fiúza came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tasso FC.
