After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matvey Epanchin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Mikhail Hromchenko sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute of the match, Evgeniy Kobeko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Dynamite getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mastur Bálint hit a great ball. Matvey Epanchin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matvey Epanchin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikhail Hromchenko in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matvey Epanchin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikhail Hromchenko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matvey Epanchin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efim Abramov in the 34th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evgeniy Kobeko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Rolando Noboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Dynamite booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Efim Abramov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matvey Epanchin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matvey Epanchin came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 54th minute. Peru were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Dynamite's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Matvey Epanchin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Peru's attentive Luz Tejedor managed to snatch the ball when Lev Meskhi made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Kobeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Kazemir Gorbachev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dynamite and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dynamite's Kazemir Gorbachev got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamite's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matvey Epanchin came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Kobeko in the 76th minute of play. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Matvey Epanchin made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Matvey Epanchin was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dynamite throughout the match.
