Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Taniel Kips took the kick off in the first half of the match. Themba Takane came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Taniel Kips's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s Taniel Kips sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themba Takane having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane. Themba Takane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced Cimarrones F.C.'s goalkeeper Themba Takane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taniel Kips scored 2-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Cimarrones F.C.'s goalkeeper Themba Takane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Themba Takane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Taniel Kips left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cimarrones F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 64th minute Taniel Kips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themba Takane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Ubarna Donallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cimarrones F.C.'s Taniel Kips in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho had several of the Cimarrones F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Themba Takane as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene was substituted for Demetrio Giacchetti. Cimarrones F.C.'s Roger Belloso was substituted for Taniel Kips. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Themba Takane made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Belloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
