Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Oto made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, ARGENTINOS.J's Julian Terciero got a free kick in the 4th minute. Axel Tasis, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The ARGENTINOS.J fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when ARGENTINOS.J's Ricardo Oto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 14 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a ARGENTINOS.J's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. Rodolfo Gago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 30th minute of the match. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Ricardo Oto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by ARGENTINOS.J's Guo Yuan Ting. But to his dismay, Guo Yuan Ting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 46th minute of the match ARGENTINOS.J got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julian Terciero ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, ARGENTINOS.J's goalkeeper Rodolfo Gago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Valentin Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Oto in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ARGENTINOS.J players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Terciero in the 82nd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guo Yuan Ting in the 84th minute of the match. Guo Yuan Ting scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Gago made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ARGENTINOS.J fans cheered their team off the field, for while Costa Rica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
