KANLICA
Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elixio Estrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grigore Dinculescu scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Carlos Mendonça came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Abram Luque. But to his dismay, Abram Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in KANLICA FK's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carlos Mendonça came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. If Peder Fossingkjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. After 48 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peder Fossingkjær to make the kick off. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Dinculescu in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Elixio Estrada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Elixio Estrada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Grigore Dinculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. KANLICA FK's José Carlos Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save KANLICA FK from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, KANLICA FK's Peder Fossingkjær nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Grigore Dinculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
