In the 9th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Călin Prunaru. FC MCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cătălin Agulescu got free with Rolando Noboa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Cătălin Agulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Adrian Isbășoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Pau Novo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Gavril Mangra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Prunaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristi Maniu. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Prunaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Viktor Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Axelsson got free with Rolando Noboa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Viktor Axelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the game Andrei Murărașu made a throw-in which Adrian Isbășoiu played forward. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 55th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Prunaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Axelsson in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 71st minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Călin Prunaru made a huge save. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 84th minute of the match Peru got a corner. FC MCM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Joaquin Prats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Călin Prunaru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 86th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vali Cârnu's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Peru were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after FC MCM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
