Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolando Sidro started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Sidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 3 minutes into the game, Onagoity AFC's Rolando Sidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Gervaso having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Onagoity AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Gaudencio Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Rolando Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Sidro in the 18th minute of play. Nestor Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fulvio Addari hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rolando Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 37 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Onagoity AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Generoso Uzuri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Onagoity AFC's Rolando Sidro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 40th match minute, Onagoity AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Trandafir to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Gervaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Onagoity AFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Gervaso came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nestor Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onagoity AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Hug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Sidro took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joni Rotinsulu, made in the 57th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Onagoity AFC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After some careless play in the Onagoity AFC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Gervaso. The Onagoity AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Gervaso should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Nestor Hug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Sidro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th match minute, Onagoity AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Plato to maneuver through the defense. Onagoity AFC's Justo Cayo was substituted for Nestor Hug. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Onagoity AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Addari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onagoity AFC's Gaudencio Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Rolando Sidro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Sidro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaudencio Gervaso. That made the score 7-2 after 88 minutes of play. In the 90th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Gervaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-3. The audience was convinced that Rolando Sidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Onagoity AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
