Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Phuoc got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Arthur Clarke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Arthur Clarke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Arthur Clarke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Ngô Duy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Osman Şenel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of the match. Zumar Villabona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Zumar Villabona sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute of the match, Zumar Villabona got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A nice corner shot did that Đặng Hanh got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zumar Villabona. Osman Şenel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arthur Clarke came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hai Duong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Clarke couldn't finish the play. Zumar Villabona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zumar Villabona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Clarke in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hai Duong's Phạm Minh got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Osman Şenel made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Clarke came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osman Şenel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Osman Şenel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
