After 13 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iggi Kot who took care of the corner kick. FC Gdansk36's Cyprian Rekowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 15 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Adam Matysek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iggi Kot in the 16th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Matysek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Rekowski in the 44th minute of play. The FC Gdansk36 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyprian Rekowski was the one to do the kick off. Cyprian Rekowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adam Matysek stood somewhat misplaced when Mariano Lacasa came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 57 minute. 61 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Matysek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Lacasa. Adam Matysek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Mariano Lacasa sped through FC Gdansk36's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Matysek. FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski was substituted for Cyprian Rekowski. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Kozlowski in the 86th minute of play.
