If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veremundo Buyeres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roch Palzewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Miguir's Grueso Armental played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 10th minute of play. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grueso Armental saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Moreno Martins came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Miguir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moreno Martins couldn't finish the play. If Juan Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Palzewicz in the 33rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute Miguir were awarded a corner. Veremundo Buyeres went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Miguir's corner Veremundo Buyeres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Moreno Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. When USA's Edward Mcdonald, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for USA. In the 41stth minute of the game Edward Mcdonald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miguir's Grueso Armental was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, Miguir's Grueso Armental got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguir made a substitution. Boris Arancibia replaced Juan Esiquio. Miguir's Marquez Andres was substituted for Moreno Martins. Esterilla Busta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Grueso Armental made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquez Andres in the 70th minute of the match. Grueso Armental made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 71st minute. Grueso Armental made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monty Rogers got free with Grueso Armental in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when Miguir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esterilla Busta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Pejuan in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, USA's Jenson Smith ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Grueso Armental. Grueso Armental yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Roch Palzewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Miguir's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Grueso Armental reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Miguir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching USA's performance. The match ended with a win for USA.
