Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 8th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Edward Mcdonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Iigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of USA booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Cassius Byrne in the 36th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Teodosio Iigo's left hand side. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Iigo was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Emilio Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

USA's Diego Bradley quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Károly Bogdán, made in the 51st minute of the game. Tom Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Hermansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hermansson in the 55th minute of play. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 59th minute of the match. Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Teodosio Iigo made a huge save. Emilio Gotzon hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Emilio Gotzon hit a great ball. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 82nd minute of the match USA got a corner. AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabian Brown hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug in the 84th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, USA's Khalid Parry made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Iigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sam Campbell scored 0-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Iigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
